Just came back from a very (extremely) quick business trip to London.

Two and a half days on the ground, 2 1/2 days of meetings (landed Tuesday at 12:30p, in my first meeting at 2:00p). Not much time left outside of the office but we made sure we filled every free minute with seeing friends or visiting M&S for Sarah and the girls…

A brief recap would include the following:
Tuesday: meetings (from 2:00p), pub, Jef and Edith, visit to my old local (the Frog now rebranded the Bedford), a curry, jazz at the 606, drinks at bar Cuba, kebab late in the night…

Wednesday: Tube Strike! Sucked! Meetings (9 to 5 solid). Had drinks organized with friends. Only a handful managed to attend (the old crew and the locals, Jef, Edith, Nono, Laurent). Dinner Jef and the lady.

Thursday: Meetings (10 to 6). Last night out. The full monty. Dinner at Soho House, late night bar with some old broadcast friends, Bar Italia in the wee hours and flight back home (at that point, it was Friday).

Sounds like fun but we did actually work our butts off first!
